What's missing

We made a magazine because we couldn't find it.

One that makes Europe desirable, not defensive. One that treats our contradictions as strength, not weakness.

12F is an independent European cultural magazine. Essays, interviews, photography, visual culture. Contributors from across the continent, edited in Vienna, designed in Berlin.

Issue #00 was volunteer-run. No investors. No advertisers. Independent. Every contributor said yes because they believed in the idea.

Three ideas hold 12F together:

Unity in Diversity

Europe is the ability to travel between worlds and feel at home in all of them

Humanism

Dignity, justice, solidarity. Not as slogans. As defaults.

Savoir Vivre

Beauty and pleasure are not decoration. They are the point.
